last leaves of fall
we went up Alpine Loop the other weekend and stopped by Cascade Springs. This place is pretty neat... everything was almost dead and looked ready for winter except for a few straggling leaves and moss. The landscape was pretty amazing too because there was a fire up there a couple years ago -- which charred everything in it's path.

Al, I ditto Bridgett. Usually things start to seem a little dingier right now. But also as usual, you find the beauty in it.
